I think an ETH killer will continue to be another cycle narrative for the next bull cycle. I don’t see SOL killing ETH, but I think it will still do well.
I am interested to see what happens to SOL when the Eclipse launches (an Ethereum Layer 2). It uses a modular approach similar to the Manta Network.
Eclipse Stack:
Ethereum – for settlement and should keep it more reliable
Celestia – for Data Availability
SVM – Solana Virtual Machine (instead of EVM – Ethereum Virtual Machine) for execution.
This parallelized execution (see attached photo) approach seems to becoming a hot topic for the upcoming bull cycle (Monad is another one to look into).
Add it to the Layer airdrop farming list in the future. There’s becoming too many Layer 2s to count ????

I know many were interested in getting into EigenLayer after Casey talked about it on Saturday School. They delayed opening up the pool to Feb 5 and it will be open for 4 days.
I’ll be making a video on how to prep for it when we get closer to that date

Yes. For all ETH Layer 2s (Manta, OP, ARB, etc), they require ETH on their network as gas. Compared to other EVM Blockchains (BSC, MATIC, etc), which use their own currency as gas. It can be a bit confusing but hopefully that helps! Let me know if that resolves the issue

I saw a suggestion online of at least 0.1 ETH, but like these other airdrops it’s up in the air. You’ll get Restake Points as you have staked ETH locked on their platform and these points will translate to tokens (ratio of points to tokens is up in the air).
