If it is a USDC pool, then it must be USDC. There may be other USDT pools, but would have to look. It would not be too expensive to swap your USDT to USDC during a time when GWEI is low on ETH network. GWEI is 3 right now – and that is very low. Bridging to another blockchain would cause more fees, because would have to bridge it there and back to use it on ETH network

As this question pertains to your portfolio – only you can really know the answer to that question. Do you know your strategy for the vault? If you are looking to accumulate, then price going down would be a good thing for buying more (DCA strategy). If you have a trading strategy, the answer is more complicated (charts, macro environment, vault strategy, etc.)

They are different stablecoins with different values. They are both pegged to dollar, but as Cliff stated above, they fluctuate slightly above and below dollar. The minor fluctuations happening right now are normal.

The real USDT is down .1% in the 24hr. So it sounds like you have the correct USDT. Another way to confirm you have the correct coin is to confirm the coin address. You can get the real coin address to verify on CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap
