It sounds like you may have been scammed or swapped for a scam stablecoin. If the “USDT” that you swapped for is not pegged to the dollar, then swap it for the correct USDT or other stable as soon as possible. The real USDT is currently pegged to dollar.
If it is a USDC pool, then it must be USDC. There may be other USDT pools, but would have to look. It would not be too expensive to swap your USDT to USDC during a time when GWEI is low on ETH network. GWEI is 3 right now – and that is very low. Bridging to another blockchain would cause more fees, because would have to bridge it there and back to use it on ETH network
Frax is regularly mentioned, so continue coming to class and you will hear about it – you can also check previous recordings as Jeordan mentioned. FRAX will mostly be discussed in GvensDay classes. Keep in mind that things change and past performance does not guarantee future performance – so just because Gven made a certain amount in FRAX in the past, does not mean that anyone can replicate it going forward

If you are looking to accumulate, then price going down would be a good thing for buying more (DCA strategy). The real USDT is down .1% in the 24hr. So it sounds like you have the correct USDT. Another way to confirm you have the correct coin is to confirm the coin address. You can get the real coin address to verify on CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap
